Hi All. Okay, here's a strange one, and I can't seem to figure out how to stop it. Lately, my computer thinks it has a virtual CD/DVD drive. Now, I have two drives, and they're both there, but now there's a third one which doesn't really exist, but it's decided to be the G drive. I've tried removing the "driver" in the device manager. That works until I reboot the system, then I come back and it's there. Also, when it reinstalls itself, for some reason, it will often decide to call itself the F drive, and change my hard drive to the G drive, which then makes my iPod the H drive, screwing up my Voicebox shortcut for Rockbox, as well as my Winamp library since all my music's on the external drive. I know how to change the drive letter for the hard drive, but don't see any of my CD/DVD drives listed when I change drive letters, so am not sure how to make the virtual maybe the Z drive or something. But, what I'd really like to know is, how do I get rid of this "virtual drive"? I first noticed it either around the time I installed Ashampoo Burning Studio 7 (works very well with JAWS for making CDs and DVDS, by the way), or after I ran RegCleanXP...I did both about the same time, and that's when this extra drive started popping up.
