Hmmm, why would two inputs and one output damage one or more pieces of
equipment. Separately, they can both drive the pair of headphones I've
hooked up to them. Why should connecting them both

I am looking for a connector all right, but need one
which can connect a PS2 type of keyboard into a USB computer. I think
there is something like that available?

Hi, It's because the outputs will not be the same in each
device.
If you turn both of them on and loading the output of one divice will be
ok, bacause it was made for that impedance match

I agree with Ken. Although what you need is a two in one out
mixer. A headphone amplifier most likely will have one input
and two or more outputs.

The other device might not match those phones.

Hi Evan,
Glad you found something. If it doesn't work let me know. I guess
what you want is two stereo male plugs terminating in a female stereo
with both stereos coming through in paralell.

Your idea of having an adaptor with two inputs and one output
might work, but it could damage one or both pieces of equipment.

Hey Guys,
I want to listen to two different audio sources at the same time with my
headphones. So I need a connector with two male eighth-inch jacks at one end,
then several inches of cable, merging into one eighth-inch female jack at the
other that I can plug my headphones into. Anybody know
Radio Shack should have that I'm pretty sure.

Hi again,
I had suggested Radio Shack, but if you don't find it let me know as
I have all kinds of cables and connecters here and may have just
what you're looking for. If I do I would send it to you, no
charge. Let me know if you have any luck.
