OK, I'm confused. I had heard that some IRivers are very accessible and
user-friendly! I went to eBay thinking I might find something helpful and I
found nothing with more than 1 or 2 gb of space in the ifp 700-series. I
can't believe I wouldn't want a video iPod since it is already known

accessible, then i dunno what is. Granted you *will* need sighted
help to access the menus, but once you do, you can operate it like
any other mp3 player.

the maximum since they're flash based.
Other Iriver models have a hard drive in them, but the IFP models are

The thing with the Ipod is the Itunes software which isn't real accessible
without paying for scripts. Also, if you were going to put Rockbox on, you
would lose the ability to play stuff purchased on the Itunes store and other

I feel the Milestone is overpriced for its limited feature set. Add the
ability to play DRM formats like protected WMA and add support for
verbalizing ID3 tags, replaceable batteries, etc. Then, maybe, we're movin'
in the right direction on this product.
