Well Hamit, I gave it a try, and it didn't do enough to mollify me. I have that old Audigy in the old computer, and have considered taking it out and installing it on the Dell, but don't know where the cd with the drivers disappeared too, so that may not really be an option. Might have to

As a side note I didn't note it right away and could have left it alone, but that was only because I use my Bose Companion 5 USB virtual surround sound system. But for grins and giggles I connected head phones to see what the card is like. Also to use the Stereo Mix feature. -Original
