I like VLC Media Player from http://www.videolan.org. It's free and uses existing codecs from your system to play DVD's. One neat feature is found under the audio menu. It is a channel option. For example, if I put in the DVD Ray, I have four channels. Channel 1 is the movie with no DVS.
