Yep, I wasn't aware of that, either. But, my realplayer opens my Audible
titles, the aa files, just fine.
If we could just trick Winamp in to playing them using, I don't know, the
realplayer plug in
Folks, obviously it's against Audible's copyright to copy their books
and they are quite serious about it. I do not want this list to be
forced to close because of this discussion. Please take it elsewhere
and move on to other PC audio related topics.

Have you guys seen the open letter from Gold wave to Audible. As of this
morning, it was still on goldwave.com. It's in response to Audile's demands
that Goldwave remove any reference to converting audible files with
Goldwave. The Goldwave company's response was excellent.
