Peter, I've never needed a manual for mine. I don't know anything about a

I was a bit leery since the one they offer now is the iMic 2. But I called
Griffin and they say it's still very accessible and that it won't shut down
Jaws like the other product I used. Also, it sounds as if one doesn't
have to use the cd they supply? Anyway it arrives tomorrow

Another question about the Imic. With my current sound card I don't
have quite as much mic gain as I'd like. Would I possibly get more
mic gain with an imic? Thanks.
Joe.

That's a fair question and the answer is that you may not need an
Imic if you already have a sound card however, the Imic I have to say

The other great thing about the Imic is that it just

Indeed, that's a good enough reason as any. The Sound Blaster Live
packed it in on one of my Windows boxes but not to worry, off to buy
another Imic so if anything breaks down in the Sound device
department ever again, the replacement job will only take 5 seconds
instead of ten minutes.

Where can I find an Imic, and how do you tell Windows to use it as
a sound card? Also, does it automatically disable the other card,
or can you use them both?
Thanks

You can also check www.pricegrabber.com and www.ebay.com.
You can use both sound devices under Windows, the Imic will be
detected automatically when its plugged into a Usb port.
Amazon seems as good a place as any to get these things.
