Hello,
I am not familiar with Windows ME, but it may be similar to other versions,
 in this respect.
Try going to the startup folder, located in the start menu, under programs.
Open that folder, if Nero is there, delete it.
It's just a shortcut, so no problem.
If Nero is not listed there, you will need to go to the run dialogue, from
the start menu, and type in,msconfig, and press enter.
Once in msconfig, shift, tab to place you on the general tab.
>From here either control tabb, or use left or right arrow keys to place you
on the start tab, and then tab once.
arrow thru the list until you find Nero.
and use the spacebar to uncheck the box, so Nero will not load at startup.
You will probably need to use insert, numpad 8 to say line, to see if the
box is checked, or unchecked.
After unchecking the box, tab to the apply button, and press enter.
Then tab to the okay button, and press enter, once you do this you will be
prompted to re-start your computer so that the changes you made will take
effect.
Press enter, and wait for your computer to re-boot.
If this is not correct for Windows ME, I hope someone will correct me.
hth,
Richard Justice
