A good way is buying for example a usb headset that has a physical usb sound
card that connects with mini jacks.

footprint roughly equivalent to an I phone laid flat. It has XLR, 6mm and
rca connectors.
The last time I looked they were about $60 on Amazon

capable of inputting a set of mics for stereo recording. What do you think?

I'm looking for a USB audio device that has adequate options for inputting mics
and line level inputs in stereo. Inputs such as quarter-inch, XLR, RCA,
eighth-inch. Professional is not necessary, but something that is quite good
quality. Can anybody recommend? Thanks.
