Here are a couple more.

for radio reading services, some you will have to
subscribe to, some like Sun Sounds of Arizona you
won't.
These are in the U.S.

for shortwave stations, you need real player 10,
Hi Steve,
I just tried listening to some stations on Mike's Radio World, and
didn't have any problems. The New Stations page was updated towards the end
of June.
Hope this helps.

From what I've seen lately, the links on Mike's radio World appear to work
for the most part. But I haven't found any new links. This could just
involve my own area of listening interest, but that's what I've noticed
during the past several months.

You need a software player like RealPlayer, Winamp or WindowsMedia all
available to download at www.acbradio.org.
Two good sites with thousands of stations worldwide are mikesradioworld.com
and radio-locator.com. Once you've got a player installed you should be off
and running.

I think whatever you're doing online its a good idea to install anti-virus
software and a program like spybot to ward off invaders and hackers. Having
said that I'm fairly sure you won't get infected with a virus or find you've
got dangerous spyware on your system after listening to a stream.
Hi Sunil
Thanks for your response. I have installed spybot and antivirus software on
my Windows computer. I use the net with my DOS computer, and soon want to
try listening to online radio with my Windows baby.
Cheers
