Hi Group
Called Panasonic and they said that their portable model do not have a auto resume.
Called Iriver and they said slimx550 only remembers 1 cd. Look at my previous post and
give me your opinion of a CD/Mp3 Player 12 cd auto resume function ,battery life is
not great.

Hi folks! I was trying to install my sound forge version 6.0 on my lap top, but I ran
into problems, because my CD drive on my lap top will not read the disk for some
strange reason. It just sits there. I'm wondering if I can download SF 6 from
somewhere, and use my serial number.

Hi Scott
Why don't you try contacting this company either by phone or e-mail and ask
if the various buttons beep. If it provides enough audible feedback that
would be great.
Let us know.

Hi,
This sounds like a very good unit, but I question how accessable the menus
would be and whether or not we could add and delete the bookmarks easily.
If anyone trys this player, share your experience and opinion with us.
Thanks.

What about the new players from Dell?

Hi there Anders.
I had a similar difficulty and was advised to highlight the particular file
in Windows Explorer then do a Shift plus F10. A menue will appear and the
first option is "Play in Winamp". Once you have done this once, that
particular type of file will automatically play in Winamp.
Get yourself a virtual cd drive emulator like daemon tools. I'm not sure
that it plays .cif files, but you can convert that image to something that
it will read like .iso or something else.
It's a very easy program and all menu driven.
You could write me off list and I'll try to help.

Probably from the new web site, but I'd check your drive out by calling tech
support unless that's the only cd that has problems. If it works on your
other computer, try making a copy and using that.
New site is:
www.sony.com/mediasoftware
look for support and updates.

To add to this thread. Deaemon tols will mount most images. It is just a
matter of also acquiring the add-on which will allow the user to mount the
images ie. .cif, .nrg or whatever from Windows explorer and not the rather
cumbersome system tray interphase.

Has anyone on this list successfully used yahoo messenger with jfw? If so, how speech

Is it possible with the At&T voice Crystal, to make Text Aloud.mp3 to say hmm,

I have been playing around in the Pronunciation Editor, typing various things,

I hope someone can help because this is really quite annoying.

i use yahoo messenger all the time, and find it to be reasonably speech
friendly, although you do need to use a lot of jaws cursor, so if your good
with your jaws cursor useage, you'll be fine.

May be between the two of us we can work this thing out. I have the same

Okay, that sounds good to me. Maybe between the two of us we can work it out. I
know it's something little, but it's annoying. I know that it says c u z instead

Also, it says y a instead of ya, and there are others, but I won't go in to

Jeff,
Yahoo messenger does have an audio component. You can use audio as well as
text messaging. So I thought it would be ok to bring up my question in this
group.
