Hi
I slightly changed the subject line to better reflect the question.
Well if it were me doing it, what I would do is listen to your backing
track on headphones or something so people would only hear you sing. I
would then take your vocal track and then do a mix paste or whatever the

Chris, thanks for the comments. It seems like quite a problem, getting both
the Vocal backing track syncronized together.

Brent! Technically there's no reason to suspect that a USB audio
transmitter would be any less effective than the ones your used to. There
are no accessibility issues. The audio travels through the USB port as a
digital signal and is converted to analogue either in the transmitter or the

Use something like Winamp to play your MP3 backing track while you record
your vocals. Headphones are a good idea here to keep the music out of the
microphone. Then trim the excess sound before and after the vocals, and
use GW's micx command to put it all together. I've done this several
Dana! If the transmitter is broadcasting digitally then the fidelity
should be preserved but a analogue broadcast is always going to suffer some
deterioration though it may be negligible for most people.

They actually make them that broadcast digital now? Then one needs one of
those HD capable radios. Digital would be less likely to cause others
problems, unless they can notice the noise it splatters out on their analog
radios.

I think digital just means digital tuning, not digital broadcasting, as what
they're trying in some markets on AM.
