Hi Chris, One way of doing what you want in Sound Forge is to do the following. 1. Record all of your clips on both channels as normal. 2. Convert to mono if the left and right channels contain different things (i.e. are in stereo) and you want a combination of both channels to appear in one.

Create your main recording with the speech. When you are ready to fade in the music Pull up the music in a second window, select the amount of fade in, copy the track, control tab to the speech track, press control m, this opens the mix window where you can determine where the mix should start.

Hi people, I'm using a Windows XP machine and I suddenly find myself not able to hear some Windows sounds. For example, I don't hear the tunes when Windows starts or ends. And I don't hear the sound when I connect my Bookport to my PC, using the USB, of course. And I can't hear an error
