Anita, screamerradio is fre, extremely screen friendly and extremely
 simple
program. It's so useful because you can record radio station from within
 the
program without starting any other programs like total recorder, for
 example.

This type of error means that something is wrong with the connection to
 the
station you want to listen to, not with scremer radio itself.
You can record as long as you wish, there is no limits. To do that, you
should choose Begin recording, not simple track mode.
But, if you want to record directly in .mp3 you should have lame_enc.dll
 file in windows\system32 directory.
 Good luck!

Thanks for pointing out Reciva. I had never heard of it -- say nothing of
 using it.
I've played around with it for the last 10 minutes or so, and I do like it

The one thing that should be mentioned is that some users may find Reciva
to be a bit more complicated to use than some others.
It's well worth it from what I can tell.

Once again, Michael, thanks for directing usto a less well known

One of the many neat things about christiantuner.com is its listing of
podcasts from many well known media ministries.
Just look for the link

ChristianTuner Podcast Directory

There are also links to ministries that I've frankly not heard on the air,
in some cases, for years.
So it's not only a very useful resource for radio stations but also tv
programming, ministry websites, archives, and, of course, podcasts.
It's one of those sites that I always believed had to exist or wish I had
created but am delighted that someone else assumed the great amount of
work that obviously goes into it.

Re: program to record vidio and audio

2006-11-24 Thread Kelly Pierce
Google video and You tube use flash to play the videos. Flash movies can be
stream captured with various stream capturing software. I used Replay A/v.
The program was still capturing after two hours and ten minutes. by that
time, the file size was nearly 400 megabytes. I stopped the capturing at
that point. What was captured played in a Flash player in a box the size of
the palm of your hand just like on Google video.

Why not just buy the DVD of the video and make copies? It would be a hell
of a lot easier than capturing a huge file so people can play it on
one-eighth of their computer screen. with a regular DVD, it can be viewed
on a standard DVD player in full screen on the living room TV quite
comfortably.

 Hi Listers,

First of all, happy turkey day to those who observe it. I
hope to put on a pound or two (lol).

I'd like to know what would be a good choice of software to
 accomplish the following:

There is a two hour vidio documentary regarding 911 and world
globalist efforts to control the population and to doop us into
believing all is well. You can find it by going to google.com and
putting the term terrorstorm into the search box. The third link
that comes up in the results is a vidio documentary by Alex Jones,
approximately two hours long, which is both intreguing and very
scarey. I listened to the audio of it, and used total recorder to
record the audio. I wish to recommend, to my friends with broadband,
to view it. I'd also like to know if I can record it, audio and
vidio, to make dvd's for those who I know do not have
broadband. Which software would allow me to do this, hopefully
free? If anyone has ideas, please let me know. If anyone does
listen to the audio and wishes to discuss what they've heard, please
 write me off list at:
 [EMAIL PROTECTED]

This is not the place for political discusssion, so I hope I've not
violated list policy by asking about appropriate software to record a
 highly political documentary.

Here is the error message, that I get, when I try www.screamerradio.com

The document you requested is not found. Is this the error that you
 all

 website?

I may not have the URL correct, but, I thought that I did; what is going
 to
 solve this?

 Thanks,

 Anita
This type of error means that something is wrong with the connection to
 the
station you want to listen to, not with scremer radio itself.
You can record as long as you wish, there is no limits. To do that, you
should choose Begin recording, not simple track mode.
But, if you want to record directly in .mp3 you should have lame_enc.dll
 file in windows\system32 directory.
 Good luck!

 hi,
When trying to select a station or type of music, I get an error the
service could be found or something like that. How can i prevent the
 errors
from occurring? How long can one record from within the Program?
No scripts or set files are needed, right?

Re: Problem with Soundcard

2006-11-24 Thread Keith Gillard
Unfortunately,

There are not to many control panels for sound cards that are accessible.
If your using jaws you can some times get around using the jaws cursor and
routeing jaws to PC etc, etc.

Sorry...Keith

Hello, I am using a Sound Blaster Audagy 2ZS Sound Card and I want to be
able to access the audio environments that come with it. However, when I go
into the start menu, into the programs pull down and the Creative pull down
all I find is Product Registration. I know Why is that? I know that I have
registered it.

 Michael

Thanks for pointing out Reciva. I had never heard of it -- say nothing of
 using it.
I've played around with it for the last 10 minutes or so, and I do like it
AND have added it to my bookmarks.
The one thing that should be mentioned is that some users may find Reciva
to be a bit more complicated to use than some others.
It's well worth it from what I can tell.

Once again, Michael, thanks for directing usto a less well known
 resource.

The About dialog says: Sonic DigitalMedia Plus v7.

Remember that I'm only doing the most basic burning, so I wouldn't be
surprised at all if more advanced features weren't accessible.

Fwd: New games available on the Audio Network

2006-11-24 Thread Steve Pattison

From: The Audio Network [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Dear all,

This is an audio network store update, with details on a brand new
trivia CD Rom, updates on the store maintenance, and details on
posting dates for Christmas, as well as a gift wrapping service.

http://www.pressakey.net/catalogwww.pressakey.net/catalog

New Game on the Audio Network

Today we launched a brand new CD Rom - it's a trivia based double
bill called Beat The Clock The Maze.

Beat the Clock is a brand new audio trivia game, testing your trivia
knowledge, and your ability to keep cool under pressure!

The game shoots off trivia questions randomly selected from a bank
of over 700 questions, and keeps on shooting them at you until the
time runs out, or until you get the required amount of correct
answers in a row. You start off needing to answer three questions
correctly in two minutes, and the tasks get tougher through all nine
rounds, round nine requires you to complete five correct answers in
just sixty seconds!

The game uses real audio and macromedia's flash player to deliver a
fun trivia challenge.

~

The Maze is one of the classic all time favorites of Audio Network players!

Left, right, or centre, which will you choose? Avoid the trap doors,
find the transporters, answer the questions - it's all so confusing!

Oh, by the way, did we mention? This is a random game too, and doors
you pass through may not necessarily lead the same place next time!

Ten levels to escape from, be warned - this game is addictive!

The game is priced at $20 plus $2.50 shipping and handling - an
extremely reasonable price!

Updates on Store Maintenance

the online store has been experiencing difficulties recently, which
was down to something technical called Bill messed up, smiles! But
it is all better now, and ordering has never been easier! You can
order without an account if you wish (although every order you place
you will have to put in your details, but I know some of you prefer
that to having info stored electronically), and you can also pay
either by check/money order, or by using your paypal account, or by
using your credit card through paypal's secure pages.

If you choose to order by cheque, your order will not be shipped
until the cheque is received.

Posting Dates For Christmas

The last posting date according to the US Postal Service for
international packages is December 12th. That is the last posting
date to get any purchases for Christmas. In case of any delays, I
really urge you to buy any christmas presents as soon as possible.

Gift Wrapping Service

Yes, that's right, order from the Online Store, and we'll giftwrap
the present for you as well - for free! Just make sure you request
the service whilst checking out.

Thank you for choosing the Audio Network, and helping to support the
online site through your purchase. I'd like to wish all of you a
wonderfully happy Christmas, and a happy New Year!

All the best from our family to yours,

Bill Teale and Janet Dixon,
The Audio Network
