Hey all. I have a splitter with four input jacks with separate volume
controls, I also have a laptop and two mono to mono patch cords. I am
trying to rig it up so that one pair of headphones can hear both the
laptop and the desktop, and the other set can only hear the desktop.

High John,
The best way to go about doing this, is to get a special mixer that is for
learning and teaching purposes.
It has moldable headphone jacks and moldable audio line and mike ins.
The price is a little high, but it will do what you need it to do.
John.

High John,
You can get it at any music/sound pro-equipment store or you can get it from
any of the online music stores.
Try any stores that sails mixers amplifiers speakers and mikes.
If you don't find it there, then try all of the on line stores.
Good luck!
John.

I always recommend soulseek from
www.slsknet.org
It's really good for download albums, and for finding a lot of underground
electronica. Most of the things I download are out of print or not
availible in the u.s.

Hi,
It is accessable with jaws, but you'll have to use the jaws cursor to clicki
on the diferent tabs. Also, the chats read in one big long line unless you
use the jaws cursor. don't know why that it.
I've been a happy soulseek user for years and years and years now.

I'd really like to see some scripts that would make the chat auto-read, I
really want to get into some of the rooms like industrial and drumbass, but
can't do it in a practical manner.

Hi,
You need to tell your router what port soulseek is using, and then tell your
router the ip of the machine. there's a button that will tell you if your
ports are open and working correctly.

Friends, I have a portable crosley system that My brother got me for
christmas.
it has some jacks on the back i believe are labeled auxiliary. I think. i
will have to ask him though.
tell me, is it safe to connect a plug in to one of those jacks and to
connect it to my computer to record
Auxillery jacks are input only. they are there in case you wish to run
something
like a second tape deck or cd player through the system. You could for
instance run
a line from your speaker out on your computer to the auxillery and hav the
audio from
the computer go through the stereo.
Ok, thanks. we'll certainly give that a shot.

High Randy,
First, find out how those jacks are labeled.
If they're line out, then you can hook that in to your sound card.
But if they're line in, then it is just like Dock said.
You can go the rout of using your headphone jack, but it wouldn't work to
well for you.
You will be able to record
I will do that My bro is coming over so he can go ver with me the settings
again. i sure will ask hi.
