Hi James Thanks for your suggestion. I forgot to mention that the other pc, the one to which the audio is being streamed, is linked to the network via a digital link, because that pc is not in the same building as the rest of the computers. Would this affect what you suggested, or not really?

I have successfully converted some .wma files using Sound Taxi platinum 1.3 something. Although it is my understanding that Sound Taxi can be used to convert Audible files, I have thus far not been successful at such conversions. I would therefore appreciate it if someone would outline step
