Also probably the plextalk pocket. It's much more of a recofrder than the xtreme and probably the most accessible recorder on the market at present. A RAR file is a compressed archive, not unlike ZIP. You need to extract your media files from the RAR file first. If you do a Google search for 7zip, you will get this very good free archive program that among other formats handles .rar format. Rar is an archive format like .zip. You have to unpack the files before you can play them. There are lots of other programs that will do the job as well.
