Panasonic RX-ED 50
Hi, I love this unit but I am experiencing a new problem. I am getting a temendous amount of AC hum when playing the AM radio. I am wondering if the voltage got change by accident as this unit works on both 110 and 240. Does anyone know where the switch is located that toggles the voltage on the unit? Hi the boltage switch for changing it. Is on the bottom of the radio you will have to turn it upside down and then adjust that switch with a screw driver. Is it possible to burn files in a shuffle mode as an audio cd with Windows Media. The files always revert to alphabetical order in the folder regardless of how I arrange them. Howdy, I need to know what a good and accessible program would be to record radio streams. I'm needing to buy this within the next couple of days, as I am needing to record a radio stream on Friday. I use JAWS 9 and have a PC computer. I have one that uses Windows XP and one that uses Vista. So, what do you recommend that is easy to use? I never heard of this file extension before, but my first hit on google.com lead me to http://filext.com/file-extension/3GP, where it said: 3GPP and 3GPP2 are the new worldwide standards for the creation, delivery and playback of multimedia over 3rd generation, high-speed wireless networks. QuickTime 6.5 includes support for key components of the 3GPP and 3GPP2 specifications. The Macintosh type is: 3GPP So obviously, quicktime will play 3GP files. A little bit of checking revealed that quite a few of the audio/video converters will handle 3GP files including Switch and Replay Converter, the two that I'm familiar with. Audio Manager Problem
Hi. a few weeks ago, when my toshiba loads up, i hear a high pitch noize, clicks on and off, then the live messenger sound comes up and then jaws. if i leave it on standby, hear this clicking and pitch noize, and it happened maybe 2 to 3 weeks ago. it is really annoying. checked that the audio drivers, using a real tech audio manager, a toshiba a300 satellite psa g4a. so went into windows update and it automatically downloads. so not sure what. so pasting below my entire list of updates for the past month. maybe some one who has had that happen to them before, and running windows vista home premium, and jaws 10. this is driving me stir crazy. and so can any one help. will paste below. cheers marvin. I would use your xp system. The two leading programs for recording streams are Replay a/v and Total Recorder. Both are good. I have always preferred Total Recorder. You can download a demo of Replay a/v to try it out, And there are audio tutorials for JAWS users at http://www.applian.com/support-blind.php As for Total Recorder, subscribers to the $9 Sound Computing package have access to several audio tutorials that I created. To modify what I wrote above, if you use Vista, you definitely want to use Replay A/V, and it doesn't work any better with Xp than it does with Vista. Total Recorder is easier to use with Xp.
