I believe I have version 10. I know that version 11 is out now, but after listening to a tutorial about it, version 10 sounds like the most easiest to use to start off, being that I'm totally new to Itunes and therefore, no absolutely nothing about it.. When I first enter Itunes, I see the treeview, containing options for streaming, library ETC. I've found that Itunes also has a standard toolbar, which is awsome. However, when I go into the help area, that's where things get a little fuzzy. Could someone please explain how to use Itunes help? When I go into Itunes help, I see the following Items: 1. a button labeled (print options) 2. an edit box where you can type in something, followed by a list of options, the options include: A Itunes overview B. Import music, video and more C. Learn about the Itunes store D. Itunes in the cloud E. Listen and watch F. Organize your Itunes library G. Sync your Ipod, I phone, or Ipad H. Share music and video I. Manage your media files J. More resources K. The Itunes Icon This list is followed by what I'm guessing to be a heading that's called (Itunes Help) which is then followed by directions that tell you that you can either click on a topic on the left or type in the search box above the list. Then at the very bottom of the page, is the company name which is Apple Inc and the words All rights reserved, and that's all. If I type something into the search box above all this, it appears that nothing happens. But if I press tab, I'm placed into a listbox, which Window-Eyes does not read. It simply says that it's a listbox and nothing more. If I try to arrow up and down with either the numpad or regular cursors, I get no verbal feedback. Am I missing something? The good part is, that I was able to get into the Itunes store, search for an album and listen to a few song samples and they sounded great. The only thing that's throwing me off, is how to use the Itunes help. Any assistance would greatly be appreciated. Thanks. Mike Rochester, NY. more Itunes questions
Hello again everyone, Everything within the view menu is disabled, except for the visualizer pull-down menu and the column browser pull-down menu. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Mike Rochester, NY. To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
Goldwave, Play and Pause.
Hi List. Two questions concerning version 5.68 of Goldwave. I know I should be able to press the spacebar to play and pause a file I'm reviewing and editing in Goldwave, but its not working here. On checking the manual, it says, Space starts playback or stops it(toggles playback). The region that is played depends on the Play 3 button settings. I've tried altering the Play 3 button settings, but I can't get the spacebar to restart playback after depressing it to pause. Could someone who's got this working successfully please let me know which option I should have Play 3 set to? And, one more problem has arisen this afternoon. I'm unable to use control plus g to jump to a selected time in the file. I'm entering in the correct format, but when I hit OK and try to play with a tap of the spacebar, nothing happens. This was working this morning, and it just can't be a coincidence that both this feature and the play pause on the spacebar have stopped working at the same time. I've obviously made a change in settings but I can't for the life of me remember what it was, and messing about is getting me nowhere in a hurry! Again, any help gratefully received. Many thanks. Re: Goldwave, Play and Pause.
Greetings, In the view menu make sure the auto scroll-lock is checked, this brings into effect movement keys and I believe solves your space bar problem. Ctrl-g should be used when playing the file, i.e whilst it is actually playing and when a value has been entered, press enter to jump there, the file playing all the time, don't think it works from a stopped position. Keysounds KDR and Kurzwell K2600
Hi again everyone, Are you familiar with, or perhaps do you know someone who uses the combination stated in the Subject field above? I own a K2600 and the KDR software years ago and the computer I was using then has been re-formatted and is now only being used for off-line office use. I need to get another copy of the KDR software to try out on my Windows machines here in the studio. If you answered yes to either of the two questions above, please be so kind as to contact me off[list via my email addresses or by the phone number listed below in my signature.
