Hidden Feature In CC 2E Radio?
Hi! Time to revisit this subject again I think, someone asked what happens when you hold the Frequency/Time toggle button down on the CC 2E radio? - That's the button on the top right of the square of small round buttons on the front. When this button is held down for around 5 seconds the CC 2E radio sounds a beep to indicate that the radio is in Calibrate mode. To start the calibration press the frequency/time button again, the CC 2E radio will start tuning through the band step by step, this takes around 3-4 minutes. A calibration is not normally needed - the CC 2E radio is calibrated at the factory before shipping - but certainly performing a calibration won't do any harm, may even spice up the already excellent sensitivity of the radio. Calibrations can only be performed on the AM broadcast band. -- ** Those who need help are those who are prepared to help themselves

RE: Converting .aa (audible files)
The link to the site is http://www.zamzar.com They have both a free and paid version, however, you have to register an account to use the paid version. When you go to the web site, you'll be accessing the free version of zamzar by default so you won't have to worry. In addition, here's a link to an audio tutorial I made for the blind geek zone web site last year. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ar8akka0n5fdo78/Uploading%20and%20converting%20files%20with%20Zamzar.mp3?dl=0 I show you how to use zamzar both with a notetaker and on a pc, should in case you decide to use it with either device. Hope this helps. Good luck. I'm actually going out of town for the weekend and will be leaving soon, so if you have any other questions, just email them to me and I'll answer them for you when I return. If you celebrate it, hope you and your family have a safe and happy forth of July holiday weekend.
