But they are not audio related only. So you have to sift through all kind of
other pc tech stuff to get to what you want.
This seems to be the only list for audio related topics specifically.

Regarding the microphones? I've never heard that before.
The USB is simple, when the power is off and the Zoom H1 is connected to
the computer then the Zoom H1 acts as a storage device enabling you to
transfer files from the Zoom H1 to your computer and vica versa.
When power is on and the

OK folks, I got the message. The pc audio list will
continue, probably on groups.i
Correction: after you choose your genre, you don't need to shirt+tab, you
are placed on the listing.

I just updated to the latest version to make sure this works.
Tab to the Search Menu button and press space. Arrow down to the Genres
choice and press Enter. this lands you in a vertical list of letters and
numbers which are the first letters of genre names. Arrow up or press o for
oldies,
Hello listers: I have the latest version of Tapin Radio; am trying to
figure out how the genres menu works! I go there; I hit Oldies".but all
the comes up is the same list that is in my favorites list; this is to say
that nothing seems to be coming up! Am I doing something wrong?

OK folks, I got the message. The pc audio list will
continue, probably on groups.i o. Not because I'm too
cheap to pay for website space, but because DMARC and
other e-mail list constraints have made lists difficult
to manage. More information to follow.
Thank you all,
Tom Dimeo
Thanks for this; will keep this around for future reference!

As with all groups.io lists all you have to do is send a blank message
to the below two email addresses to join:
blindtech+subscr...@groups.io
main+subscr...@techtalk.groups.io
One group has over 400 members and the other has over 300.

I have to agree with Norma here; once in a while, I've seen stuff like a
message (supposedly from a subscriber) the message usually has a lin it (and
of course I would never click on it) but this hasn't happened in a while!
While it might not be the end of the world if this list goes away, I hope

I would agree with this, but then again, my email provider is very good at
filtering out spam. Making allowances for my fallible memory, it's possible
that some came through, but it couldn't be a lot.
I don't post here often, but I also like reading about audio equipment, even
if I don't plan
I guess my ISP must have a good Spam filter because I don't recall seeing
any on this list.
I, too, have been on the list quite a while. Although the traffic isn't
steady, it is nice to have a place where I know my audio-related questions
will get answered. I guess I could live with the list
Thank you so much.
Just too things:
Do you find that the build in mics go softer when they get loud
noises? That is not a good thing, and also, when you connect it to pc,
does it bring up options for choosing the audio sound cardt or storage
device? Such as olympus? How do you select them?

The time and date can be set and I've done it a couple of times, when
you turn the unit on you hold down the "Stop/Record" button from memory
and that puts you into the settings mode for time and date.
The values start from a default and I think its year, month, day, hour
then minute and a
Hamit, good idea there. They must get the message somehow.
So dain what do you do when setting the time and date? And I guess you
never change the bitrate for mp3? I guess that is not possible with a
slide switch? Is wave the default?
