.CDA files

2008-02-21 Thread Vicki
I have some CD's with the extension .CDA on the files. I want to place them
on my hard drive and play them with Winamp. I have never seen this
extension, and I would like to know what kind of file this is and how to
transfer it to my hard drive and play it. Thanks.

Hi Vicky!
CDA is regular CD audio; you can rip the files into MP3 with CDEx, for
example.

hi vicki, the cda extension stands for compact disk audio. you can also use
audio grabber to rap the disks and it will put the track list on if it has
it in the data base. if you would like the programme please let me no.

Hi Vicky,

You have to rip them onto your computers hard drive first. You can do this
with a number of different applications including windows media player,
CDEX, and winamp too. I can't tell you how to do this in winamp because I
don't use it to rip CD tracks; however, there are folks on the list who can
help you with this further.
