.CDA files
I have some CD's with the extension .CDA on the files. I want to place them on my hard drive and play them with Winamp. I have never seen this extension, and I would like to know what kind of file this is and how to transfer it to my hard drive and play it. Thanks. Hi Vicky! CDA is regular CD audio; you can rip the files into MP3 with CDEx, for example. Hi Vicky, You have to rip them onto your computers hard drive first. You can do this with a number of different applications including windows media player, CDEX, and winamp too. I can't tell you how to do this in winamp because I don't use it to rip CD tracks; however, there are folks on the list who can help you with this further.
