I now have Total Recorder Professional Edition. I was reading the help section dealing with splitting files. I have set Total Recorder to automatically split files, and I checked the box which says something like, "Auto create separate file for each software sound stream". Is this the correct thing to check if I'm recording through line in, from an album? The reason I'm not sure is that I understand that for this type of recording, the recording preferences should be set to "Sound Board".
