Re: Arcam Music Boost
Yep that would be right, around $600 or close to $1000 in Australia. The Chord Mojo - if you do get one - will pay for itself pretty quickly as it can be used with so many other devices than your phone, use it with your Desktop or Laptop computer for example, devices from Chord Electronics unfortunately have never ever come cheaply but the Mojo is probably one of the cheaper one’s from the company. > On 11 Jan 2016, at 12:41 PM, Mary Ottenwrote: > > Regarding the chord electronics mojo: I think I'm looking at the same > thing, and they want darned near 600 bucks for it. Regarding the chord electronics mojo: I think I'm looking at the same thing, and they want darned near 600 bucks for it. Yikes! Is that the one? I will wait to see what the reviews on amazon say if and when the case that is discussed under this thread makes it to amazon in the States. I know some UK reviewers said it was hard to get the phone in and out of the case. But my experience with my 6S has been that after you get it in and out of its case a few times, that does get a bit easier. I can't see paying that much for a portable DAC, even though it could be used on android devices as well. StillP $600 is waay more than I can justify. Mary

Not at all, its a case that the iPhone slips into and you’d hardly notice. > On 9 Jan 2016, at 9:19 AM, Anders Holmbergwrote: > > Hi! > A bit to clumsy to ware around with. > My hearing is not as good as yours so i don’t care much about it. > /A >> 7 jan. 2016 kl. 20:12 skrev Dane Trethowan : >> >> Clever Man! >> >> I’ve ordered something similar, the Chord Electronics Mojo which can be used >> with iPhone, Samsun S6 or even a desktop computer. >> >> >>> On 8 Jan 2016, at 5:46 AM, John Gurd wrote: >>> >>> I've just ordered one of these to use with my iPhone 6 and B P7 >>> headphones. Hi! A bit to clumsy to ware around with. My hearing is not as good as yours so i don’t care much about it. /A > 7 jan. 2016 kl. 20:12 skrev Dane Trethowan: > > Clever Man! > > I’ve ordered something similar, the Chord Electronics Mojo which can be used > with iPhone, Samsun S6 or even a desktop computer. > > >> On 8 Jan 2016, at 5:46 AM, John Gurd wrote: >> >> I've just ordered one of these to use with my iPhone 6 and B P7 >> headphones. Arcam Music Boost
I've just ordered one of these to use with my iPhone 6 and B P7 headphones. It's a combined IPhone battery boost case, headphone amplifier and lightning DA converter. The P7s sound great, but they sound even better with a little help. I've been using a FiiO Kilimanjaro portable headphone amp occasionally with them and noticed a difference. The Music Boost taking the digital signal direct from the lightning connector on the iPhone should make a significant improvement hopefully without the inconvenience of interposing a cumbersome additional device. RE: Arcam Music Boost
Just looked at the Mojo. It gets fantastic reviews. I'll tuck that thought away for future reference.
