I would like to know, how do you extend the recording time in Sound Recorder?
I am asking because, I heard that Vista will let you record full length songs
from a cassette tape.
But in Windows XP, Sound recorder only records in increments of 60 seconds.

length of your proposed recording.
making sure you are at the beginning of the audio file, simply record your new

Yes sure you can. Making sure line in is checked under recording and
with your cassette connected to the pc via audio cable and adjusting
the desired recording volume, you can hit

Just load a wave file of say 6 minutes and 36 seconds into sound recorder,
then making sure you are at the beginning of the file, hit record, recording
your new content over the old file. I believe
