RE: Is there a device that will let you play a thumb drive throughastario?

2008-10-28 Thread Cornell Ligon

do google for Onkyo 905 av home heater receiver and JVC 802b.
I'm certain others also offer playback of USB drives. I know the Onkyo has
player settings built in or lossless data formats.

Best way I can think of is buy one of those cables that have two RCA
 jacks
on one end and 1 at the other. Plug the end with 1 jack into a laptop,
 with
a thumb drive in it, and plug the other two into a stario or tv equipt
 with
 2 stario jacks.

Is there a device that will let you plug in a thumb drive and act like
a CD player, reading the songs, and sending them through RCA to a
stario receiver? I would apppreciate any advice on a product that
 would do this?

Well, I wanted to be able to use it not near a computer, and I do not
like the sound quality of headphone jacks. I was wondering if there
was a component like a CD player that can read thumb drives, and or
flash cards.
