Re: Problem with a particular stream

2010-07-21 Thread Dana S. Leslie
Well, I still can't get this stream to play in Winamp, and I've haven't made
any progress figuring out why not. Has anyone else had a brainstorm, in the
meantime? Any ideas will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Dana

Hi Dana,
The stream works fine with Firefox and Winamp 5.58. Older versions of
Winamp couldn't play .aac files but I believe that Winamp has supported it
for the last couple years.
Look in your Winamp preferences under file types and see if your version
supports.aac files. Hth.

Hello Dana and list,
Wror has changed toa different stream. You can listen at:
http://www.vtuner.com/vtunerweb/asp/StatLaunchMP3.asp?id=9122link=1
Be aware that the stream is an .aac stream so won't play in Windows Media
player unless you install the proper plug-in. Winamp supports .aac streams.
Hth.

Would someone check to see if this stream will play in Windows Media Player?
If not, can you give me a hint why not. Thanks.

I can't tell you why..but this is what I got when I clicked the link you put
in your message: g to play, burn, or sync an item that is in your library,
the item might point to a file that has been moved, renamed, or deleted.

Well, at least, you've reproduced my result. So, possibly, the stream is
down. But, I wish, they would say something to that effect, so one would
know for sure. Seems strange, though, as their HD stream is working fine.
