Hi I have Winmx 3.54 B downloaded and installed.
So I go and load it up and it just says connect.
So what did I set u incorrectly or what do I need to do so that it will
connect and let me start searching and downloading files?

I can't get Winmx to install because it fails every time I get to the connect

My connection is DSL with a LinkSys router. No other firewall. I haven't used
it in years. What am I forgetting?
I'm using 331, is there a version issue?
Thanks.

Hi list,
when browsing in the Winmx folder for the .INI, all I find is a file
called Settings. When opening it, I'm told that my OS may stop working,if

Hi all. The latest patch is version 2.0 and I've had lots of success
this started. Why can't
folks leave well enough alone when its doing its job right is beyond me.

You can get an updated patch from www.winmxworld.com. At first it takes up
to half an hour or an hour to connect, so it might be a good idea to put in
the patch, start winmx, go do something else for a little bit. It does
get better later. Mine starts like the old winmx now.

What is so hard about going to the site and getting the patch instead of
having someone send it to someone else? The site is really easy to
navigate.

It is much easier to be critical than to be correct.

does the patch install itself in it's proper place, or do you have to
tell
it where to install? thanks.
