Re: has anybody successfully used KbPiano?
It seems that nothing happens as I press the ctrl+p from the main window, there's a properties window but even if I close it nothing changes... assume I have to close the properties which don't seem to be accessible anyway Html-man Msn: html-...@libero.it Skype: html-man visit my website at: http://www.html-man.net Jonathan Mosen List Founder Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org

So far, on my Vista laptop with a RealTech Sound chip, I can generate no notes, but n my wife's Gateway laptop running Xp, the program works as advertised. Yes I have used KBPiano for a few years. Now I can't comment on how well it will work with Jaws but I use it just fine with win-eyes. First make sure you are in the main window of the program. There is a music creator window but that window is not speech friendly so you want to be in the untitled window. Lets now type control-p which will put the program in practice mode. Press notes on the bottom of the keyboard and see if you hear sound. Press escape to cancel this window. If no sound is heard lets press The letter p and that will bring up a patch list where you select the instruments you'd like. This should at least get you started Dean but if you need more help Please drop me email and I'll help you. *** REPLY SEPARATOR *** On 2/4/2009 at 9:17 AM dean martineau wrote: KbPiano is a neat-looking little program that turns the computer keyboard into a music keyboard.
