Hi guys! Through a bit of research, I finally got my tones onto my
phone. To make this short and really simple, if you see that ominous
erase and sync button, do not panic! It will not actually erase anything
from your phone, at least as far as ringtones go. Just to be safe, after
pressing the erase and sync button, I was then able to see that old
familiar screen with the 2 radio buttons sync selected tones or sync all
ringtones. To be safe, I chose all ringtones and when i synced,
everything showed up just as it should. That erase and sync button and
the super-scary message that goes along with it is probably one of the
most poorly-worded error messages I've ever seen. So if you run into
this sort of thing, be sure to read the iTunes sreens very carefully, so
you'll be able to tell how many tones you're syncing. In short it works
and I'm very happy with the results.
