I tried nvda, but it was not much better. So, how, in nvda would you
look at the time elapsed and how would you use the dialog where you can
jump to a specific time?

Your life is like a penny. You're going to lose it. The question is:
How do
you spend it?

I'm a VLC user myself - both Windows and Mac - but have kept a low
profile in this discussion as I don't use Window-Eyes these days, I'm a
NVDA user and I have no problems with the Software /though I did tweak
the Interface settings a little for my personal liking.

problems using vlc

2016-02-20 Thread covici
Hi. I am having a couple of problems using vlc with Window-eyes. I
don't see the time, either elapsed or total in the window while I am
playing something and if I try to jump to a specific time, I seem never
to be able to get out of that window -- there is something called enter
go, but pressing that seemingly does nothing, same with "enter cancel"

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
