There are three types of resets.
The first, and simplest, is to hold down the Power or On/Off button on the
stream, with the
stream off. Hold it down for about fifteen or twenty seconds. This will
result in the Stream beeping

result in the Stream beeping twice, as if it is starting twice. This is
exactly what it is
I had one that did this at about the same age. Try pulling out the battery and
using external power. If that works, you need a new battery.
There is also a reset you can try. I think you hold down the 1 button while
powering it on. May be a different key, not sure.
