i picked up a diamond supramax USB 56K V90 modem for few quid in charity shop ~ found a modem script that looks right for it ( looked at it with hexedit ) , but i should think that it needs an USB extension as well , any ideas where to track one down etc ? , --- http://members.tripod.com/

I've bought a USB Zoom modem for my PowerMac 9600. System Profiler finds it brilliantly and gives all the info for the modem. Question is how do you I use it? Going through the Internet Wizard the only options for a connected modem are either Modem or Printer port, but no USB! Help!! -- PCI-

Does anyone near Ohio sucessfully use a USB Global Village modem that is powered by USB? I have one and am unable to get it to work so would ask someone who uses one to test mine. I am working an 8600 with OS 8.6 and a Keyspan 2 port USB card which works OK with an HP printer. Wm. -- PCI-PowerM
