I can't really answer your question Harold, cuz I don't know diddly
about keymaps, but I would ask thishave you tried reinstalling the
software (drivers) for your keyboard?

Windows98 on a HP computer and HP keyboard ... Some of my fun with the
computer is tinkering with the deletion button and tweaking the
Registry, so problems are always bound to come up. Fortunately this is
not a serious one.
Problem ... is with the Keyboard Manager (found in Program Files
