Clint:
I suspect that the text searchers do a line
by line search and if the text you are searching
spans two lines, it is not found. When I do not find
a text, I try a search for each half of it. One of the
halves will be on a single line.

Clint,
It seems to me, it depends on where your IE is looking for the information.
I always export the Internet settings key..this way I have all the settings when I
have to reformat.
This is kind of like OE...even though you move the messages to the OE store
folder, they are there, but you have to
Ok here hopefully is the final post on this. History is
below. There seems to be problem with saving those keys, then
importing them. Actually, the first key was all that was
necessary. Any mod's made to it, changes the 2nd key as well.
What I did was open the saved reg. file, and changed it

any. That must be something just for XP (ME is what I use,
mentioned in original post :).
Thanks,

Too late with the last answer. Guess I didn't get up early enough.
I would save Domains since there are other subkeys under Zone Map. The

Karl just sent me a private email on this. He said it was in
the registry, but I didn't find it there. I tried AGAIN using
a DIFFERENT search string (another site that was blocked) and
it DID show up that time. I can't understand why the first
string I searched for is not showing up!

I suspected this file might be a "USER" file, but I don't know
why the search didn't find it the first time. I searched

don't know of a way this file can be edited or portions of it

Hi all. Can someone tell me please how to save, or make a
copy of the "Restricted sites" entries in the IE6 security
options? I've added more than 100 entries there and when I
reformat, I need to have a way to just add this list in bulk.
This 'list' is NOT in the registry. I even did a 'contain
