Using Windows XP, a few days ago, I made some changes in my "user name"
changing it from "Compaq_Owner" to "Harold" (because I'm the owner, why not,
that's my name) and because of the following problem, I changed it back to
"Compaq_Owne
XP is not asking, it's Internet Explorer that manages passwords.

you want it to remember the password. Click on Yes and it will
automatically fill in the password next
xp asks me if i want it to remember my password to some sites,
and i do many.
but one is wrong and i dont know how to delete the password or
correct it.

The file is msinfo32.exe it is found at C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\Msinfo a backup file is located at
C:\system32\dllcache try restoring from there if it is not where it
should be.
