Re: [PD-dev] Pi page on Pd developer WIKI?

2013-01-28 Thread Hans-Christoph Steiner

Yes, it would be great to document all this Rpi activity on the puredata.info
wiki! I think the /docs/ section is the appropriate place. The /dev/ section
is more like a collection 'todo' lists like pd/src/notes.txt, as well as
design ideas, sketches for implementations, etc. More like documentation for
things that need doing rather than documentation of things that work now.

Since there is so much activity around it, I think we should start an RPi
section of the /docs, like /docs/raspberrypi where people can create many
different pages.

I'm leading a seminar of graduate students who are trying out various things
on the Pi (audio; USB; GPIO; etc) - would it be appropriate for us to start
a age on the Pd Dev wiki (http://puredata.info/dev) to collect experiences?
I'd be happy to try to get that going unless there's some reason it should go
 somewhere else.

I set up a 'wiki folder' for this, so people can freely create wiki pages
under this section for all sorts of things related to Pd-on-RPi. I could see
people putting up their own pages to document their own setups, a intro
getting started page, etc. Whatever really.
