I'll be in Zagreb from 21 Sept to morning of 25 Sept. Any and all PD
enthusiasts in the neighborhood are welcome to meet me at culture center
MAMA. Get in touch and maybe we can make a little meeting.
best!

Hello list,
I just recently discovered netpd, which is frigging AWESOME for those
of us newbies that can't program PD very well just yet. However, I
have a problem - when I open up _chat.pd, it's looking for people on
my own LAN. Can I jam with folks across the internet? Is there a

Hi,
I think there is a bug with msgfile, pix_image and probably others
related to declare -path which seems to be ignored by those objects.
As opposed to for example [textfile], which will include directories
correclty that are declared.
is there a trick to add this functionality to object

The easiest thing would be to put all those objects directly in the extra

I read somewhere it is possible to do it with two .exe but i have not

hey,
i just installed pd-extended (haven't tried pd in a while), and loading a
video with [pix_movie] causes immediate crash in OS X. since I just
installed it, i wonder if there's a basic troubleshooting guide someone can
recommend, or if you know something about this specific issue, that would

no (though i actually thought of including it for a while);
I think that it doesn't dynamically update. So you need to have the
menubar turned off before opening the patch in question.
If you look at pd.tk/u_main.tk, you can easily find the Tcl code.
Look for menubar. You could set it off by default with this line
near the top:
#set menubar 1
A crash log would help. Check ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/ for the pd
one.
pix_movie is one of the most tested objects on OSX, so it would be
interesting to see what crashed.

Yeah, I have a lot of numbers being thrown at me, sometimes invoking the
same formula that Martin gave. I guess empirical testing is the only way
to know...
BTW, someone on the Synth-DIY list just created a new Arduino + analog
synth Yahoo group, in case anyone's interested:
