hmm, attachment seems to be missing

Also fails with help pix_film patch. Though at times it functions.

Rather strange, no?

Cool, thanks for posting that. Also, I am thinking of upgrading the
Gutsy build machine to Intrepid, so it would be great if you start
testing Pd-extended on Intrepid so we can get any bugs fixed for the
next release.

Yeah, it turns out that Poly isn't really working as a host anymore and I
haven't had any time to finish fixing it. If someone can host it, I can
help them get it all setup. Ideally it would be a Debian box. Currently
its on a Mac OS X
Yeah, the preferences are kind of a mess still. It's a case of two
steps forward, one step back. Basically, you need to open either
Path or Startup and click OK to save the prefs.

Nice, I think it would be more useful if the whole area would
actively change the knob, rather than a small area in the middle.

One could stack several numberboxes behind the canvas. For the GUI I think,

Sure, that wouldnt' be too hard with Tcl/Tk. Data structures would
probably not work so well. Ever looked at Kzrysztof's [Scope~]?
It's in cyclone.

That TX-OVERRUNS usually means that you are sending data to comport/
arduino when it is closed. It can also mean that you are sending
data too fast to the serial port when it is open.
/dev/ttyUSB0 should open with [open 0( that doesn't work?

If you are on GNU/Linux or Mac OS X and using an Arduino Diecimila,
then the Arduino will reset whenever you connect to it, i.e. send
[open 2( message. It needs to then boot up again.
Once the Arduino has booted up, it'll report its version. You can
get this version message from
Definitely post a link in puredata.info/docs somewhere to this.
Perhaps it would be a good idea to have a Start Here page with this
kind of documentation.

hi
i can access the HID object only as root, or, to be more precise, i
can access only as root the device i am trying to get into the HID
object.
Of course i can chmod 777 /dev/input/eventxx then access the device as
user but isn t there an easier workaround ?
