I don't think it's impossible. Right now pd~ uses posix pipes, which appear to be available for windows -- but the microsoft-supplied version seemed to have license restrictions that prevented me from using it (e.g., wouldn't be compilable under third-party development platforms). This situation

It is Pd, so I think we should at least make an effort to make things easy to parse in Pd. I tried your parser using data that is probably closer to what we might use, and it didn't work at all. If someone can get a Pd parser working that can handle the commas well, then I would be OK
