great Max!!
Looking forward to further developments, funding are always tricky.
Can I ask what kind of funding you are applying to? Is it an Eu fund?
Dear community,
I'd like to present Weimar as an applicant to host the Pure Data convention
2011 to you all.

Hello all,
I am still teaching myself how to get good output from GEM, I am working now
with a formant vocoder which feeds values into a video composition of 5
rectangles. It renders the rectangles as I want it to, but when I export it
via pix_record, it only saves the top rectangle, and rotated

I don't know why you use [pix_dump] in your patch.
And i am not sure what you want to do but i guess you need send your
[pix_crop] in different rectangles. Then capture with [pix_snap] the
entire gem window, then record this capture with [pix_record].
I strongly recommend you start to see

I propose hosting a video stream of the convention (as much as possible
anyway). I can provide an icecast server for the duration, or there's always
ustream.

Video streaming would be nice, but the hard part is the crew to run
the streaming. The DebConf Video Team is large and very organized,
and a great model for this. Anyone want to take this on?

Yay Max! Sounds like the first thing for us to help with is fund
raising. I'll see what I can do. I'm going to talk to the DebConf-
NYC people, they were quite good at getting money.

The [hid] code is the same, perhaps something you set up before just
took effect with the updates. Did you follow the HID on Ubuntu docs
on puredata.info?

Thanks for your reply Hans. No, i didn't do anything at all! I just
installed plain Ubuntu 10.04, downloaded and installed Pd-extended 42.5, and
some ubuntu studio packages, period.
Do you think it's safe to update ubuntu, or is there a risk that it spoils
everything?
I think it's weird because

Dear folks,
Does anybody know a good way to link libraries in a Pd extern build? I
am using plain ol' command line and makefiles. It would be nice to be
able to do this without modifying the Makefile in the
Pd.etc./Contents/Resources/ directory, but due to my general ignorance
of programming
I can't see a edit button only a 'log in' to the left... So how can i edit?
My Idea would be a Mitfahrgelegenheitsseite for the Travellers who
plan to go by car / Train-Group-Tickets / etc. to organize travel a bit.
Also i could offer to do a little workshop but thats maybe to soon for
that :)
good idea!
