Hi,
I remember that some time ago someone presented a patch that
(automatically?) fragments an audio buffer into pieces, based on a [bonk~]
analysis. Does anyone know which patch is it, or where to find it? I
looked in the archives for several tags, but couldn't find it.

Thanks for the help everyone! I managed to merge all of the advice
here into the attached patch. You have to press the red button for a
new line each time but it's a start. Plus, each new line is indented
by a single space (most likely a problem caused by [add2 $1( )

Hi Roberto,
[knob] is not part of pd-vanilla. You could choose [vsl] or [hsl] instead.

I ran into that, it seems to do the job. But I remeber the other patch had
an array display where the fragments could be seen with a canvas behind
the relevant part.

Try resetting your preferences to the defaults, then it should load.
You can now do that in the Preferences panel, I think its under the File

really interesting as always Billy. I'm hearing a bit of stuff like yours
lately, made by various people. Evolving freeform jams which step well
outside the 4/4 looped techno paradigm, but which still keep a solid
