hi!
i think openni should be available for the rpi.
and with the asus xtion i read somewhere its's working.
i don't know about the kinect openni driver for rpi.
without gem there is no ready to use solution for pd yet.
but you could build your own openni external, activate the depth- and
hey,
That bug is not related, though I might look similar. Any time you see
things like .x2415b0 those are the unique IDs that Pd uses for each Window
in the GUI. .x2415b0: no such object basically means that Pd is trying
to send a command to a window in the GUI, but that window does not
Thanks to check this out Ico,
hope my example patch and Pd-l2ork code together can be helpful in solving
the issue.
will also keep looking into it,

Just to further confirm, pd-l2ork is not affected with Benjamin?s example
either. Hopefully this will help Hans and others hunt this thing
cool,
Should be nice to have them manage list as well, it's better to do that
in C when you want to transmit long list of float.
Having choice of endianness may be good as well.
You can copy both from the externals I've sent yesterday if you want.
best,

Hey Max Matthias,
Thanks for your suggestions.
Guess I need to keep thinking/digging. I had spotted the Asus but have to
presume it will be the same with sunlight as the kinect. Hmmm. The kinect
is appealing as my friend already has one but from my reading around it's a
way of working
That should be way off working

Hey Ryuta,
Yes, we'd thought about PIR's. My understanding, and I'd be happy to be
proved wrong, is that they are either 'on' or 'off', motion or no-motion.
And this case what we'd really like is to be able to detect motion but also
depth (3d) so we can measure whether something is moving
Maybe check out these things:
http://www.digikey.ca/product-detail/en/D6T44L06/Z3637-ND/3671589
It gives you a 4X4 pixel temperature image, and unlike the PIR sensor, it can
detect motionless warm objects.

I rediscovered the presentation from the Weimar PdCon from Urban Schlemmer
