Hello,
I noticed that the object [spectrogram~] won't show anything in the array
in my pd-extended.
I'm using ubuntu 11.10 with pd-extended installed from the apt repository
http://apt.puredata.info/auto-build/2011-12-07/ which seems the only place
where I can find a compiled package.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the same applies to the bit rate, right?
I don't know any sound intarface that work with more than 24-bit, but Pd
make all the calculations in 32-bit and than the sound you hear is 24bits at
most.

Actually now the left menu and the tabs on the top are redundant, and that
scratches my obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Since it seems that the left menu is the favorite one, maybe dropping the

Sorry for the lack of comments. It's kind of a brute-force method;
maybe I'll go through and document it at some point, but I just threw

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough, I think maybe 1/100 of a second is a good

Hey guys, long time since I posted here.
I've been trying to think a way to divide a number into random parts.
Let me explain myself better:
I'm writing a piece where I want 10 chords played during 48 seconds but the
duration of each chord should be different.
So I'm trying to figure out a way to

About the scale, do you have problems with midi note? I believe this
would be the most compatible with other functions.
Well, normally I use midi note numbers or a transposed version thereof
(especially : midi note minus a multiple of 12), but in

We usually set scale by transposing to the fifth (the major scale seven

how would a request for a feature be different from a question of

Have you tried by sending a [; pd dsp 0; pd dsp 1( message after the

I was experimenting with pd and inserted the stupid startup flag -nogui.
I read a old thread in this list of a member that did the same thing, and
