problem would be PD addressing DSP processors and feed them with tasks.
But I am still also fascinated by DSP chips but it would be a return to
roots, Millers Max/FTS. Patching on CPU, running on DSP card.

I started with Csound as first software based system (on my 486 systems
back then mostly in non realtime), then PD came around, both in Windows,
some years Max/MSP on Mac because I couldnt stand Windows anymore and
then back to PD and Csound on Linux. Supercollider never worked for me
although
well, for me Csound is replacing Ableton Live for concerts as realtime
sound engine (multitrack loop player / processor plus as synthesizer),
communicating with Pure Data/ GEM as visualization, both works well on

Hi
has anyone used a tactex MTC multitouch controller using Pd? I just got

Does anyone know if the company is still in business, their webpage

I think they are out of business. There should be a Tactex touch
I created a rather complex patch which gives me some troubles when I use
Jack with low latency settings. No XRuns but DIO errors when I click or
even hover over some tables. Just for fun I tried running it with Alsa
with same buffer settings as Jack before and dont get any DIO erros at

last night I checked out the iemlib from SVN but was to tired to setup
everything for compilation but I recognized a commit by Thomas a while

I compiled the iemlib and installed the resulting 4 files

iem_t3_lib.pd_linux

The german synthesizer company Waldorf did a nice PDF on drum synthesis:

it should be easy to implement in pd and part of it I done in my old
workshop patches which are available at

Last week I had the opportunity to present my own Linux

asked for PD too and recieved an informal presentation. The Messe was a
