There were a number of weird issues with it that neither IOhannes nor
I had time to fix. Patches are of course welcome. There should be a
fair amount about it in the archives.

Great! I had forgotten to load hexloader as a library.
Any reason why it isn't loaded by default in pd extended? I just added
hexloader to the startup flags and the zexy objects load fine.
