Simplest thing is to use send~/receive~ pairs to avoid DSP loops. See 'I
get the messageerror: DSP loop detected (some tilde objects not
scheduled) when I click Audio ON, and the sound is not working! ' here:

i mean : it's a good webcam, specially for it's price.
but at 120fps, the image size is only 320x240, and it can be very crappy if
you don't have lot's of light.

I thought you used one for the juggling project a few years ago? It worked
using ethernet and you had to make a movie for Quicktime to load to grab the
stream.

From what i know, he uses them in real time but i don't have info on the
details on how he does it. I'm pretty sure he doesn't use GEM though. PD
yes, GEM no.
I've CCd him, he might be able to tell you more.

For a project I'm working on, I need a very small computer capable or
running PD in an enclosure ideally smaller than 20cmx15cm.
It doesn't need to have a screen, but it needs to have at least two
USB ports and be able to be run on 12v DC or lower.
Has anyone come across anything like this?

You could use a Nokia N810 for that. It does have USB, but not
powered, so you'd need to include a powered hub.
Beagleboard is another option:

Aside from the 12v capability, I'd have said the Mac Mini...if you're
into that sort of thing.
