Send me the Linux/Intel binary and I'll include it. Also, if you
build one for Windows and/or Mac OS X, I could include that too.

Hello,
The following consistently crashes on winXP, with the latest extended
build binary on Hans' page (test6), and with a newer version of PD
(0.40.0):

I'm back to this. For various reasons, I've had to reinstall Linux
numerous times on two different laptops. I'm trying once again to get
pd to recognize jack.
I have the libjack dev package installed, the xserver-xorg dev files,
tcl and tk devs, and gcc.
# ./configure --enable-alsa --enable-jac
Thanks for taking the time to reply Frank.
For the record, the function object is simply a mouse/ GUI breakpoint
function editor. I'm hoping one day that such a beast will exist not
only with "lines & breakpoint dots", but also perhaps a bit more like

Anybody having success with mp3amp~? I just compiled it on ubuntu Dapper
and it is skipping/looping back on shoutcast streams that play fine
using xmms or mplayer. The streams I have been checking are 128Kbits. I
haven't checked other kbit rates.
I tried pd-extended with its already-built mp3a
Hello all,
I'm new to the list, and also pretty new to PD, but slowly getting
there.
I normally run PD on my iBook G4, but now I'm trying to get it going on
my "old world" (no USB) G3 Powerbook, that'll only run OSX 10.1.
The prebuild version I tried to put on it was not recognized as a

Beautiful! (I wish there were some Pd patches up on the site as well...)
Good job,

No, not at all (there is no thing as a membership for footils, or
rather: I'm the only "member").

Hi folks,
just about to dload & install PD.
I've had some experience with Max, & after recently beginning to explore
csound, a subsequent desire to (at least think about..) going all open

PMPD examples (boing!), i'm takin
Hi Chris,
the idea (and the music - the ogg) are really inspiring.
However I cannot run the patch you posted, it gives me
some errors (maybe stupid questions, sorry):
1) "sines" in the main patch abstraction is missing
2) "len" abstraction within resynth (and others) is missing
3) 2) error: tabre

Hi Daniel,
I saw the video, looks damn cool!
The java user interface seems extremely powerful
according to what you do with the mouse.
Could have been done something similar
with PD data structure? At least the
way you change cutoff, fm parameters
seems doable, not sure about the sequencing
