Hi,
to get some benefit out of my dual core, I have tried to adapt one of my GEM
patches to run on two pd instances, connected with netsend/receive. Well, it
worked somehow but only with two gemwins... Is it possible to get the whole
thing into one gemwin on winXP ??
thanks,
Rainer
that would be the other osx way to install stuff ;)
btw. are we talking about some particular font ?
as the X11 package in OSX contains Bitstream Co fonts, IIRC

Hi,
the problem is that wiimote needs a library for accessing the device, even if
the external is included into pd-extended, we'd still have to install this lib,
unless there is another solution?

Got it - do be sure to check out I04.noisegate.pd, they may have
beaten you to it. Even so we should add attack/release with vectral~
(which is maybe a standard object now?) and offer the patch as an
improvement to the documentation.

Hello,
does anyone know if there is by any chance an external to
train/model/use a self-organising map within PD?
Best, Jeannette.

Frank, I only had time to look at one system, and I was quite enamored
with what I saw of yours, so, it was the one that I tested out last
night. Unfortunately, I don't seem to have the
abstractions/externals for both show and polypoly. What can I do
about these? Are these in the extended version?

Yes, you can find all the neural net externals in pd-cvs/externals/ann.
The som should be in src/ann_som.c ...

Try following that document and using the sourceforge CVS. You do not need
to set up the ssh and developer account for checkout.

I am working on dynamic patch creation from dna extractions and snipping
and mutating the code to get new results, I guess that is kind of
evolutive, but I don't have a workflow for that yet.
Wow dude... I can't wait to hear that one!

Tom,
Your approach is really sensible and what I was originally seeking to
do, but it's difficult in Pd without the help of a few externals I
imagine. [vectral~] has ended up working just fine and may open some
doors into other strange manipulations :)
Thanks for being willing to share your
hi,
accidentally I found two objects (boids2d and boids3d) which could be
very nice tools, if only they were working.
I have no idea who ported them to pd, but message input seems to be
broken. Is someone working on them?

Hola Ruben!
which version of PD do you use?
The GoP thing changed between 0.38 and 0.39, and opening GoP patches
made in 0.39 with 0.38 does exactly what you describe.
