Because there's a namespace conflict with different [counter] objects in different libraries. Why every library needed their own [counter] with the same name but dif behavior, I have no idea. Usually it is suggested to people that they build their own counters, instead of relying on the pre-built

thanks for that feedback! I really appreciate it. the problem of the different OS is not easy to solve. one part is that usually you don't have all OS to test. the keyboard layout is also a problem, on linux and M$ you want to use ctrl and alt, and on OS you have the apple key. the modular idea

You dont really need the spigot in order to run this patch. Spigot is just there to facilitate turning on and off different wave generators. You can just delete the spigot and connect the osc~ directly to the tabread. Also this patch is made to open up samples and display them. all you
